Promotional USB drives are often the most popular corporate swag, no matter the event. They serve as a testament to the idea that functionality breeds success in the realm of promotional marketing items. In other words, USB drives are useful, so they tend to offer a lasting value that other products may not. So how do you choose the right USB drive for your brand? Well, there is plenty to consider!
rushIMPRINT offers a variety of styles, but we’ll focus on a few of the most popular styles. The classic Fold Out Flash Drive is available in 1 and 16 GBs. It’s the most common USB style, and is always a good choice. However, technology changes daily, and we must move forward with it. The Practical Alloy Series USB Cards, for instance, add an innovative twist to the classic USB design because they can easily be carried in a wallet or purse like a credit card. Or, if you are stuck between using pens or USB’s, why not go with a combination of the two? The USB flash drive pen functions as both a pen and a USB. It even includes a laser pointer for presentations. If you’re looking for a super-thin option, the Wafer Series USB Card may be the way to go. These cards offer a large area for displaying your brand information and contact details, despite being just 2.3 mm thick. They’re a perfectl fit to travel with potential clients.
USB drives offer an unbeatable functionality that almost guarantees lasting brand value. Customers won’t discard a USB drive as quickly as a keychain, if ever. So if you’re looking for a great way to build exposure for your brand, give promo USBs a shot.
Just the other day, I had a unique experience to sit in on a professional sports team staff meeting. The staff was clearly excited and buzzing in preparation for the upcoming season and everyone had their lists of responsibilities from season ticket organizing to corporate golf tournament management, but one thing caught my ear in particular.
The head coach surely had is pressing issues that needed addressing, but he spent most of his time discussing something the rest had seemed to almost forget about, the in-game camera operators for the jumbo-tron. On top of everything else going on in the office the coach was concerned about the commonly ignored $8.00 camera operators, and more importantly how the organization could keep camera operators longer than just one season. The initial response was to simply pay them more, but due to restrictions with the facility and their employment this was not negotiable. The coach then asked the group: What can we make special for them that adds value and builds their loyalty to us – the brainstorming began that very moment. I was simply fascinated at how all of these other important issues froze for that moment to figure out what the organization could give to camera operators to impress upon them how valued they were.
I won’t give away the final decision, but it’s looking good for the men behind the lenses. I took this as a lesson for the future though: Cool stuff with your brand on it should transcend simply finding new customers. Business owners and managers have responsibility to their teams and their staffs to develop not only loyalty but personal investment. Sure, these camera guys won’t stick around because they got some cool team-branded swag, but providing the experience and connecting with them with legitimate gratitude makes ALL of the difference in the world.

Every business and organization is constantly seeking out new ways to boost their reputation and brand awareness. One great and affordable way to do so is to invest in quick and practical tradeshow promotional gifts. Here are a few effective ways to increase brand recognition at tradeshows that will not break the bank.
Promotional pens are one of the best marketing tools and are one of the most popular items found at tradeshows. They are very affordable and extremely handy (no pun intended). Everyone uses pens; everyone also passes along pens, so when you invest in personalized pens you’re exposing your brand to so hundreds and sometimes thousands of people.
Another great item that can increase your brand recognition is a personalized tote bag imprinted with your company logo and company colors. Think about it, when people attend tradeshows they are given so many items with only two hands and would benefit greatly having somewhere to put everything. Not to mention your competitors horror when they see your companies tote holding their items. It’s a walking advertisement and makes the consumers’ life easier!
A keychain is a fun way to get creative. Key chains are a great way to ensure recognition even after the event. You can customize them with information, logos, colors and even shapes. The possibilities are endless no matter what you choose.
Your goal should be to show your marketing message everywhere and however you do that is up to you but try to be creative and think practical! Make your next tradeshow successful by handing out as many promotional gifts and practical items as possible!
